Private and romantic, simple but elegant, on the edge of the World Heritage listed Rainforest, the one bedroom self contained cottage offers a special experience in a tranquil setting of 20 acres. Riverside Retreat is on a different property than Cockatoo Hill Retreat.

The large living room opens to wide verandas and magnificent views of Thornton Peak... Wundu Wundu is magical.

Situated half way between the Daintree river and Cape Tribulation, Riverside Retreat is an ideal base from where to discover the unique Daintree Cape Tribulation coast - the only place where two World Heritages areas are side by side The Rainforest and the Great Barrier reef with long stretches of magnificent untouched beaches.

The retreat is close to all activities, a short distance to the Daintree Day Spa, The Yoga centre, next to World Heritage Cooper Creek Wilderness and only minutes from pristine beaches.

Riverside Retreat is an ideal escape for two, or for a special honeymoon in the Rainforest (honeymoon package available). Small families are most welcome.
